I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride
Thursday 3rd Apr 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives. My Sponsors

Dear Christopher, Thank you for fundraising for prostate cancer. Your commitment means so much—not only to those currently facing this disease, but also to families like mine who have lived through its impact. My Poppa Bill (Charles William Forlonge) passed away on 23 February 2007 after a 10-year battle with prostate cancer. He was the most wonderful, kind, and loving Poppa. A proud Bank Manager for the Bank of New South Wales (now Westpac), he travelled across Australia, raising eyebrows and smiles in equal measure. To help care for him and prevent him from being sent to a nursing home, I moved from Brisbane to Perth to live with him. He had been a widow for 25 years, and those years we shared together are some of the most precious of my life. Poppa taught me so much—about strength, kindness, and how to be a generous person to both strangers and friends. He also helped me believe in myself again. Your support of prostate cancer research is deeply appreciated. You’re helping carry forward the hope that one day, fewer families will have to go through what we did. With heartfelt thanks, Jennifer
