This year, I’m hitting the road for my first Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in New Zealand—and I’d really appreciate your support. The DGR is a global event that brings together motorcycle enthusiasts in their finest attire to raise awareness and funds for men’s health, with a focus on prostate cancer and mental health. It’s a chance to be part of something bigger, and I’m thrilled to finally be involved in this incredible international community.

I’ll be riding my 2007 Ducati Sport Classic 1000s, a bike that’s taken on a whole new meaning for me. After rescuing it from a wreck in Australia, I spent years restoring it to its former glory. Now it’s road-ready and eagerly waiting to tackle the beautiful roads of Hawkes Bay during the event.

While this is my first DGR ride, it’s about much more than just the bikes—it’s about supporting an incredibly worthy cause. I’m dedicating this ride to my father, who passed away 18 months ago. He struggled with both physical health issues and, like too many men these days, likely also suffered in silence with mental health challenges. Men’s health is something we don’t talk about enough, and the DGR gives us a powerful way to raise awareness and support a cause that touches so many lives.

As I gear up for my first DGR ride in New Zealand, I’m looking forward to meeting like-minded individuals, sharing the road, and contributing to something that truly makes a difference.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Monday 24th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
