Why I’m Riding My Electric Motorcycle in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride
Wednesday 7th May 2025Every ride tells a story — a story of freedom, purpose, and connection. This year, I’m proud to ride my electric motorcycle in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, not just for the thrill of the ride, but for something much bigger.
1. I Ride Because I Love It
There’s nothing quite like it — the sensation of the road beneath me, the wind in my face, and the quiet hum of my electric motor. Riding centers me. It’s where I find focus, joy, and a deeper appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. My motorcycle isn’t just a machine — it’s an extension of who I am.
2. I Ride for a Cause That Matters
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride supports men’s mental health and prostate cancer research — two causes that deserve more attention, more conversation, and more action. Riding gives me a chance to be part of that effort. It’s a way to give back, raise awareness, and stand up for those who may not be able to.
3. I Ride to Be Part of a Global Movement
On this day, across hundreds of cities around the world, thousands of riders come together — suited up, riding proud, and united in purpose. Being a part of something that big, something that powerful, reminds me that we’re never riding alone.
4. I Ride to Meet Like-Minded Souls
The ride brings together a community of individuals who share a love for motorcycles, style, purpose, and philanthropy. I’m excited to meet fellow riders who care about more than just horsepower — people who believe in doing good while doing what they love.
5. I Ride Electric — for the Future
Choosing to ride electric is also a choice to lead by example. It’s a nod to sustainability, innovation, and progress. I believe in a future where motorcycles bring joy without compromise — to people and the planet.
So yes, I’ll be riding in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. Not just for the road ahead, but for the lives we can impact along the way.
I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride
Tuesday 25th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
