Riding for Dad

Hey everyone

This is my first ride for DGR and means a lot, after losing Dad last year I have learnt a lot about men's mental health and the effects it has on not only the person, but everyone around them after they decide not be here anymore, it is a traumatic and emotional experience for everyone involved. You constantly go over the what ifs, what if I did that, what if we had of done that, unfortunately we are going to think what if for the rest of our lives and will never know. 

I want to bring attention to all mental health but men that don't feel needed anymore, feel like they are a burden, are left ALONE in their own heads, Please reach out to them, just a simple msg could change their day. Make time to talk cos one day you may not be able to.

 

Hopefully you will never have to go through this, but in reality I'm sure it will touch more then most.

 

Thanks for reading to end and hopefully it brings awareness to reaching out to family or friends that may just need that contact.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Monday 24th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
