I'm Riding for Men's Mental Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Saturday 3rd May 2025

On Sunday, the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride to raise funds and awareness for a mission close to my heart.

As a veteran of the Global War on Terror and the Iraq War, I’ve faced battles that didn’t end when I came home. Like many who've served, I’ve struggled with PTSD, isolation, and the silent weight that too often goes unspoken. I ride for the friends I’ve lost to suicide. I ride for the ones still fighting their demons. And I ride because talking about men’s mental health shouldn’t be taboo.

DGR isn’t just about motorcycles or mustaches. It’s about changing the statistics: men die an average of 6 years earlier than women, too often by their own hand. This ride raises money for research, support programs, and a growing global movement through Movember, aimed at helping men live longer, better, and more connected lives.

So before I don my finest tweed and kick up my stand, I’m asking you to support the cause. Your donation, no matter the size, helps fund life-saving programs for mental health. 

Let’s ride for the ones we lost after the war, the ones still fighting invisible battles, and for a world that honors strength through vulnerability.
