I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

It's been 6 years since I was told to get my affairs in order! After a few years of my PSA being undetectable it has been slowly rising, with 3 monthly checks to keep an eye on it. My oncologist is happy so I am as well.She said that she's got a lot of tricks up her sleeve which is comforting as I'll be looking at further treatment down the track.

There has been a lot of research which is ongoing and funded by events such as this one. I remember the doctor saying that it wasn"t that long ago that if they"d found it in my lymph nodes they would have just said good luck. So the research makes advances every day.

So for your husbands, boyfriends ,sons,brothers and all men lets keep up the great work. And the benefits can flow onto other cancer treatment.

On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
