I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Saturday 26th Apr 2025

On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for men's mental health on behalf of Movember.

All donations will be in memory of Renato de Lara. For those who didn't know him, Renato was a best friend to many. We studied graphic design together at Savannah College of Art and Design from 2009-2013, and reconnected again in 2018 when Katherine and I decided to move to Austin. Tragically, Renato struggled with mental health until his death in March of 2024. In the fallout of losing such a beloved friend, and with the love and support of those around me, I've reflected a lot on mental health and how to support other men who may be struggling, but don't know how to process it.

Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love live happier and healthier lives.
