It's that time of year again! It's the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride!

Monday 24th Mar 2025

I've just registered for this year's Distinguished Gentleman's Ride! 2025 marks my ninth year of participating in the DGR, where I'll again be riding in memory of my close mate Lincoln, who sadly took his own life a few years ago.

 

The DGR means a lot to me, it not only brings together like minded Chaps and Chapesses where we get to dress up in our finery and ride our motorcycles in large groups all in the name of camaraderie, but we also get to talk and raise awareness about Cancer including Men's Cancers such as Prostate Cancer, and about Men's Mental Health issues and Suicide Prevention. These subjects tend to be treated as taboo, but only by talking about these subjects do we break the stigma and raise awareness about them; and hopefully in doing so, we can also help to raise much needed funds to help in the fight against them.

 

I'll use this page to help raise donations towards the DGR, so if you can help by making a donation, it would be greatly appreciated!

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Monday 24th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
