I would like to acknoledge the hard work and dedication to the founders, team and volenteers of the community behind the Distingished Gentlemans Ride. The funds you raise are important and I am sure they are changing lives.

I joined a motorcycle club at the end of 2023. So that I may Register and ride my fathers motorcycle, a BSA WM20 (1940). Macquarie Towns Restoration and Preservation Club.                                                         Through the clubs newsletter I learned of the event The Distinguished Gentlemans Ride. I discovered the event raised funds for mens health and Cancer research. My lifelong mate Allen Rae had just passed away from cancer and he had asked me to have custody of his bike until his son was leagaly allowed to ride. I registersd to ride in the event and to ride his bike.                                                                           The aim of the event is also very relavent to myself as I am a Survivor. In 2017 I was diognised with Stage 4 casanomer of the left toncil.     Thanks to the wonderfull folk at Sydneys Chris Obrien Lifehouse, I am now 8 years Cancer Free.                I had a grand time at the 2024 event and met some wonderfull other riders. I will try to encourage as many other riders as I can to enter this, and many more years to come events.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Tuesday 1st Apr 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
