Finally made it!!

Well hello to anyone who cares to read my rambling's

Firstly I want to say a HUGE Thank You to Ben Taylor my Friend and Neighbour for the tireless dedication to getting the Triumph ready to complete this year's DGR

It's been a long slog and without Ben's skills,knowledge and idea's sometimes off the wall the bike would not be ready to ride.

To list all of the issue's the bike has thrown at us would be to much to list, but sorting out engine oil leaks, leaking petrol tank, leaking carburettor,kickstart repairs,clutch repairs, exhaust repairs and generally make the bike not fall to bits on numerous test rides

We have named the Triumph, 'Gutter Bolt Mongrel'

due to the amount of gutter bolts fitted round the bike, which have now been replaced and mongrel because it has parts from various other British bikes including Royal Enfield and Norton.

I would also like to say a HUGE thank you to Ben's friend Pete Day for his skill and patience in repairing the gearbox casing.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
