Getting Everything Ready for DGR2025

I've been getting everything ready for Sunday's ride out for DGR2025. The weather has been absolutely stunning, with lots of motorcycles on the roads taking full advantage. Here I am with my Triumph Scrambler 1200XE at Swansea Airport with the 'seen better days' Delfin L-29 as a backdrop. What is it about even non flying aircraft that are still so evocative and fascinating? I guess it's the pinaccle of the technology of the time and the human and engineering endeavours that go into aerospace creations.

If the weather continues, it's going to be hot in the tweeds on Sunday, but a small price to pay for a good cause and what promises to be a fantastic day in the saddle.

Triumph Scrambler for DGR2025

I'm super excited that my new bike is here for DGR2025! It's a Triumph Scrambler 1200XE with a few tweaks and it's a beauty. I've been slowly getting to know it around the Gower roads and I have to say it's everything I hoped and more. Such a fabulous ride even over our potholed tarmac and it's really comfortable and sounds amazing thanks to the Zard exhaust system. More pics and content to come.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Friday 25th Apr 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
