This Sunday, I’m doing something I never imagined I would..

I'm riding in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride on a hired Vespa, just weeks after getting my Learner’s motorcycle licence. It’s not just about looking sharp — it’s about riding with purpose.

🛵 Back in the Saddle

Before I had kids, I used to ride a scooter — and I loved it. Getting back on two wheels has sparked something in me: a reminder of how much joy and freedom comes from learning something new and connecting with others through a shared purpose.

💙 Why This Ride Matters

In 2008, my brother Phillip took his own life at just 32. Since then, mental health/fitness has been a huge focus of mine — both personally and professionally. I’m passionate about helping others see that there is always hope, that we can all improve our mental fitness/flexibility, and that no one has to do it alone.

The semi-colon tattoo on my wrist reminds me about this every single day; it is a daily reminder that the story is not over, and that everything is 'figureoutable'.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride raises vital funds and awareness for men’s mental health and suicide prevention. This ride is one meaningful way to honour my brother’s memory, and to raise awareness for the men/boys in my life that mean the world to me.

🎩 Riding Dapper, Riding for Change

This weekend, I’ll be out there — slightly nervous, hugely excited and as dapper as can be — riding with people all over the world who believe in a better future for men’s health. For the brothers, fathers, friends, and colleagues who may be silently struggling: please know you’re not alone. There’s always someone who cares, and there is always a way forward.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Sunday 30th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
