I’d rather not to grow a moustache
Monday 28th Apr 2025Another year approaches, ready to celebrate the memory of my Dad in a way we would have cherished together. ❤️
My Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and it wasn’t easy for him to share such a sensitive matter and his struggles with his “baby girl.” Those were challenging times, but we learned to listen to each other and communicate openly to overcome any obstacle and fight together, enjoying the time we had left without regrets.
Since 2018, the year after his passing, I’ve joined the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride and Movember as my way to honour his memory and support a cause that encompasses not only research against prostate cancer but also men’s mental health. And this year, I’d rather not grow a moustache ☺️.
Each year, I’ve been fundraising, pestering anyone I know (apologies but you have been chosen ☺️) to join me in raising the highest funds worldwide. Thanks to my sponsors who have supported me along the way, I’ve been able to achieve this goal each year. I firmly believe in this cause, and with your support, I hope to continue reaching my goal. Any donation, no matter the size, will sponsor research and programs globally.
On May 18th, I’ll be riding along the streets of London, raising awareness with fellow riders. I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride
Friday 21st Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that.
