Here is my personal reason and I'm sure you have you own too…. 

Being a man of a certain age, I have witnessed too many times, the unnecessary loss of friends and colleagues from both prostate cancer and mental health issues. I've come to realise that poor mental health has many side-effects and too many early deaths. There is more than one route to suicide, I've witnessed far too often stress related illnesses often resulting in fatal heart attacks with the devasting impact on family and friends. The DGR has demonstrated to me over many years how it gives real tangible support - so will you join The Lumpsters and spare the cost of a beer in support?

Join our team as we ride for The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride!

Monday 24th On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, we are teaming up to ride in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before we press our tweed and polish our boots, we are asking you to join us in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
