It's DGR time again!

Can it possibly be a year since I last asked for donations?  Scarily enough, it is!

You may remember that I am quite involved in organising the West Sussex Distinguished Gentleman's Ride.  It is quite a worthwhile challenge - the ride itself is great fun and so rewarding, but of course the real issue is raising funds for prostate cancer research and men's mental health support.  The collected funds are all passed to Movember who distribute them to a variety of projects, from local support groups to research at leading universities.  I did a bit of checking and am glad to report that Movember have an unusually low cost base, meaning a larger than average amount of your donations go to where they are needed.

So, please give if you can - it will help.  Maybe you know someone who has benefitted from the breakthroughs in cancer detection and treatment that are now available.  If so, maybe you could donate to continue this great work.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Monday 24th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
