A Year of Firsts

This is an exciting year for me, as a part of the LA City Distinguished Riders team! Not only is it my first. year participating on my own bike - I've previously been my husband's backpack 😂 - But, after several years of volunteering on the day, I have been officially invited to be a city co-host. Having spent the better part of the last 7 months planning and organizing we are so excited to announce all of the exciting treats we have in store for our participants. 

We're hoping to have even more riders this year, and raise even more money than ever! And we need your help. I need your help! 

Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, is an event that benefits the Movember Foundation. All money raised goes directly to this foundation to help end mens suicide and aide in other mental health awareness efforts, as well as support research for mens cancers. 

Now, I know it's been a tough start to the year for many of us, especially those of us in Southern California. And, a lot of us have been donating to causes left, right, and center. So, it is with a great deal of humility that I ask you to reach into your pockets, look under the couch cushions, and donate whatever amount you can spare.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Monday 24th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
