Each year I take time to polish the Triumph motorcycle, pick out an over-the-top style if I can, build a flag mount for the Motorcycle and get ready for the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. As I begin preparation, I always feel embarrassed to email family and friends to ask support donations. But then I think about the importance of this ride in “raising awareness” about prostate cancer and men's mental health, two things that have impacted my family.

Prostate cancer is particularly common in men over 50 and somehow I am over 50! (although in my head I still think I am 18). Globally, prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men. I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Saturday 5th Apr 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
