One Week to Go: Gearing Up for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride 2025

As the date draws closer—Sunday, 18 May 2025—excitement is building for this year's Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. The countdown is well and truly on, and preparations are shifting into top gear.

First and foremost, a huge thank you to everyone who has already donated so generously to the cause. Your support means the world, and it’s helping to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research. If you haven’t donated yet, there’s still time—and every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.

In terms of ride prep, I'm pleased to report that "The Countess"—my pride and joy—is booked in for a professional valet on Saturday 17 May, ready to shine on the big day. She's been running beautifully, and after her pamper session, she’ll be looking every bit the distinguished steed for the occasion.

My outfit is also locked in. I won’t spoil the surprise just yet, but let’s just say it's suitably dapper and fitting for the spirit of the ride.

We’re also thrilled to welcome a new addition to the Iron Tridents team: fellow member and good friend, Peter Brown. He’ll be joining us for this year’s ride in full style and spirit. Keep an eye out—his DGR profile will be live very soon.

Riding Dapper for a Cause – The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2025

On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I’ll be donning my finest attire and riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride for the second year running — this time as part of Team Iron Tridents.

I'll be joining thousands of riders around the world to raise awareness and funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research, in support of Movember. It’s a cause close to my heart — one that’s not only important, but urgent.

Men die on average six years earlier than women, often for preventable reasons. The number of men suffering in silence is growing, and we have the power to change that.

This ride isn’t just about sharp suits and classic motorcycles — it’s about taking action. So, before I press my tweed and shine my boots, I’m asking you to help however you can. Whether it’s a donation or simply spreading the word, every bit counts.

Let’s do our part to help the men we love live happier, healthier, and longer lives.
