A huge thank you to all those who sponsored me this year for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in NYC. We raised $7154, enough to earn third place in the Big Apple's leaderboard and 39th in the world out of 1000+ rides and 127K participants.

I am both humbled and honored by the support of family, friends and colleagues. And thank you, also to all those who supported the photo team's efforts to raise funds through photo request donations.

This is my 13th ride, with a total of $24K+ raised since 2013 for men's mental health resources and prostate cancer research.

Both causes hit hard ... I have lost friends and family to cancer and have also been immeasurably affected by the sudden suicide of a friend in the moto community more than a decade ago. Education and self-evaluation are prime goals of the gentleman's ride.

An event like the DGR can be quite cathartic, helping you to give thought and time to things that might otherwise be emotionally shelved. Thank you for being on this journey with me.

I'll be back in 2026 to continue the drive.

The DGR smile just got bigger. Maybe I'm on to something ... all this dressing in black and looking grumpy wasn't nearly as successful.

My goal for 2025 was $2731, raised for men's mental health resources and prostate cancer research ... an odd figure, but it rounded out my total over the years to a clean $20,000!

Thanks to several generous donors, I have surpassed that at $3032 with over a month left. My heart is full.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Monday 24th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
