1965 Folgers
Wednesday 14th May 2025What is a 1965 Folgers? Well... My step-father died from cancer and my dad had prostate cancer (thus my participation in the DGR) and I inherited my step-father's Bonneville.
I actually inherited a bunch of Folgers coffee cans filled with nuts/bolts/pushrods/rockers and a totally disassembled engine... He had sandblasted the frame and not primed it, so the frame had a nice patina and I left it that way.
I'm an old hand at fixing motorcycles (a pro at one time in the 70's) and figured out how to put the ole' girl parts back together. She's a conglomerate of various bikes, but mostly '65.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride
Wednesday 14th May 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives. My Sponsors
