My Story

Friday 16th May 2025

The day before my 26th birthday, my Auntie Eirwen passed away from cancer. She left me her beloved Honda Super Cub, but to my shame, I wheeled it into my dad’s shed, where it stayed until early 2024;I then decided that it was about time that I got it roadworthy and got myself qualified to ride it. On Sunday, I’m going to ride it in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, to try and raise funds and awareness for men's mental health and prostate cancer research. I lost my dad (pictured below on his Honda CB72) to prostate cancer last year, and his birthday would’ve been on Tuesday, so I thought it would be a fitting tribute to him, and his sister too.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Friday 16th May 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
